O Congresso visa promover uma ampla reflexão sobre os problemas do Humanismo, dos Direitos Humanos e da Cidadania, centrado nos desafios, oportunidades e ameaças da atualidade, nas questões da construção de cidadania plena no contexto dos problemas atuais e dos impactos das crises, em diferentes esferas.
O Congresso aborda várias expressões da Cidadania e do Humanismo nas mais diversas áreas temáticas e científicas, como a cidadania, ciência cidadã, ciência política, cultura, desenvolvimento sustentável, desporto, educação para a cidadania, igualdade de género, intervenção social e comunitária, saúde, serviço social, sociedade do conhecimento e religião.
Através dos estudos e trabalhos de investigação dos participantes, a discussão e a reflexão sobre estes temas é uma oportunidade para produzir, refletir e trocar conhecimentos científicos em torno das mesas redondas e das sessões de apresentação de comunicações.
O Congresso destina-se a cidadãos/ãs com consciência crítica, académicos/as, investigadores/as, educadores/as, interventores/as sociais, docentes e estudantes, gestores/as e diretores/as escolares, abrangendo todos os níveis do sistema educativo formal e contextos informais de ensino e aprendizagem, bem como as diversas áreas de intervenção social. Assim, o evento está aberto à participação de todos/as os/as interessados/as em contribuir com as suas ideias, reflexões, inquietações, estudos e propostas para ajudar a repensar um mundo marcado por incertezas.
As comunicações (orais ou posters) devem basear-se em trabalhos empíricos relacionados com as temáticas do Congresso.

Normas de submissão
O resumo não deve exceder 2500 caracteres (incluindo espaços e 3 a 5 palavras-chave), numa das seguintes línguas: português, espanhol, inglês ou francês. Todos os resumos validados e admitidos serão publicados em E-book. A autoria dos trabalhos deve indicar as seguintes informações: nome(s); afiliação; e endereço de e-mail institucional.
Artigos (facultativo) Qualquer participante que apresente comunicação poderá submeter um artigo. Pode ser escrito em português, espanhol, inglês ou francês. Todos os textos completos validados e admitidos serão publicados em E-book. A autoria deve indicar as seguintes informações: nome(s), afiliação e endereço de e-mail.
Neste caso, deverá enviar texto completo do artigo até 15 de dezembro de 2025, com base nos seguintes critérios:
- Escrito nas normas APA (7ª. Ed.);
- Tamanho da letra 12, fonte Times New Roman
- Incluir o resumo com 3 a 5 palavras-chave.
- Ter entre 7 e 12 páginas (incluindo tabelas, figuras e referências bibliográficas).
- O artigo deve ser enviado num ficheiro word.

The Congress aims to promote a broad reflection on the issues of Humanism, Human Rights, and Citizenship, focusing on the challenges, opportunities, and threats of contemporary times. It addresses the construction of full citizenship in the context of current problems and the impacts of crises across various spheres.
The Congress explores diverse expressions of Citizenship and Humanism across a wide range of thematic and scientific areas, such as citizenship, citizen science, political science, culture, sustainable development, sports, citizenship education, gender equality, social and community intervention, health, social work, the knowledge society, and religion.
Through the studies and research projects presented by participants, the discussion and reflection on these topics provide an opportunity to produce, reflect on, and exchange scientific knowledge during roundtable discussions and communication presentation sessions.
The Congress is intended for critically conscious citizens, academics, researchers, educators, social interventionists, teachers and students, school managers and directors, encompassing all levels of the formal education system and informal teaching and learning contexts, as well as various fields of social intervention. The event is open to everyone interested in contributing with their ideas, reflections, concerns, studies, and proposals to help rethink a world marked by uncertainties.
Presentations (oral or posters) must be based on empirical work related to the themes of the Congress.

Submission Guidelines
The abstract must not exceed 2,500 characters (including spaces and 3 to 5 keywords) and should be written in one of the following languages: Portuguese, Spanish, English, or French. All validated and accepted abstracts will be published in an E-book. The authorship of the submissions must include the following information: name(s); affiliation; and institutional email address.

Any participant presenting a paper may submit a full article. Articles can be written in Portuguese, Spanish, English, or French. All validated and accepted full texts will be published in an E-book. The authorship must indicate the following information: name(s), affiliation, and e-mail address
The full article must be submitted by December 15, 2025, according to the following criteria:
- Written according to APA (7th edition) guidelines.
- Font: Times New Roman, size 12.
- Include an abstract with 3 to 5 keywords.
- Length: 7 to 12 pages (including tables, figures, and references).
- The article must be submitted as a Word file.
